ENRICHLA is a Nonprofit 501 c3 organization who’s mission is to provide environmental and educational enrichment to the diverse communities of Los Angeles through programs, activities and initiatives designed to enhance our physical surroundings.

We have a particular focus on edible school gardens where we have a significant track record, not only in their design and installation but in their maintenance and educational use.

Other activities include advocacy for increased environmental  responsibility and education in the areas of renewable energy, water conservation, trash abatement, noise reduction and clean air quality; tree planting and public space cleanup and beautification; funding and implementation of green spaces, school fresh lunches, after school activities and vocational career activities, designed to increase parental and community participation in schools and to enhance the students’ educational experience.

Community engagement. We believe that community buy-in is an important part in the success of these programs and thus volunteering is a centerpiece of each activity and program.  We engage local community and faith based organizations as well as City Departments and of course LAUSD.
