Yes, we know it’s been said before but there is a reason for that. It’s true.
In contrast, Tomas and countless other Neighborhood Council Folks across this City have used their tiny $45,000 per year budget to deliver a host of products and services to their neighborhoods on a shoestring. They have proven that working together, anything’s possible, and it’s possible on a shoestring. We would like to have this attitude permeate every corner of our City Government. Given the mess that we have been handed, we simply have no choice.
This is a grassroots campaign. Tomas O’Grady plans to win this election for the most part by going door to door. In addition, Tomas is doing city matching funds. He has borrowed $25,000 on his home equity line and needs to raise an additional $25,000 in order to qualify for a matching $25,000. Thus this can be a $75,000 campaign. With this money and Tomas’s energy, Tomas can win this election.
